1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SilverScreen ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

SilverScreen is a platform that allows users to request theatrical screenings of films. We aggregate demand, facilitate requests with theatres, and enable ticket sales for confirmed events. We act as an intermediary between users ("Requesters" and "Attendees") and movie theatres.

3. Booking Fees and Requests

• Request Fee: To submit a screening request, you must pay a refundable booking fee (currently $10.00 USD).
• Approval: Requests are subject to approval by SilverScreen and the participating theatre. We do not guarantee that any request will be approved.
• Refunds: If your request is denied or cannot be fulfilled, the booking fee will be fully refunded to your original payment method. If your request is approved, the fee acts as a deposit and may be applied towards perks or tickets as specified in the event details, or retained as a service fee.

4. Event Tickets

• Purchase: Once an event is confirmed, tickets become available for purchase.
• Availability: Ticket availability is subject to the theatre's capacity.
• Cancellations: Events may be cancelled due to insufficient ticket sales, theatre issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of a cancellation by SilverScreen or the theatre, ticket purchases will be refunded.
• Final Sale: Unless an event is cancelled, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

5. Property Damage & Indemnity

By registering for or attending this event, you agree to be held personally and financially responsible for any damage you cause to the venue, including but not limited to theater seating, screens, flooring, and technical equipment. You agree to indemnify and hold Christopher Lee harmless from any costs, repairs, or legal fees assessed by the venue as a result of your actions or omissions.

Disruptive or violent behavior will result in immediate removal without refund.

6. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

7. Intellectual Property

The content on the Platform, including text, graphics, and logos, is owned by or licensed to SilverScreen. Movie posters, titles, and related metadata are used for informational purposes and may be sourced from third parties like TMDB. We do not claim ownership of third-party movie intellectual property.

8. Limitation of Liability

SilverScreen is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or attendance at events.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
